22 precious girls joined us for the marathon videotaping  of Beauty by The Book for Teens. They patiently (and prettily) spent hours and hours in front of the cameras as we videotaped 7 separate teaching sessions in less than 24 hours. They were amazing!

Our Priority staff (front row l to r: Emily Ryan, Stephanie Cole, Pam Henderson; back row l to r: Shanda Stiles, Laurie, Debbie Todd, and Nancy Campbell). What a huge blessing it was to serve the Lord together at the videotaping! Go God! Go Team Priority!

Here’s a “before” picture of our set designed by Priority’s own Debbie Todd.  Can’t wait for you to see how it looks on camera! Special thanks to Morgan Stiles who helped construct the backdrop and panels.
Here’s an “after” picture of the set with Debbie and the girls getting ready for a videotaping session.

The girls spent lots of time on the set and in front of the cameras and still managed to look fresh and focused in every shoot.

Laurie recommended a great book to the girls before a shoot. It’s called For Young Women Only: What You Need to Know About How Guys Think by Shaunti Feldhahn & Lisa Rice. Got a teen-age daughter/granddaughter/niece? Get ‘em a copy of this book – it’s fantastic!

Amanda Gruetzmacher came all the way from Goliad, Texas to attend the videotaping. What a sweetie!

Friends Brittney, Dawn, & Tori enjoyed some extra-special girlfriend time together.

Blue fingernails and Buc-ee T-shirts! Maddie & Jaymee were styling at the videotaping.

Andrea & Anna were absolute blessings throughout the weekend!

Sistahs Morgan and Blaire, aka The Beautiful Buzbee Girls.

Fun friends & dynamic duo: Megan & Grace.

Two cute friends (who look like sisters): Selena & Brittney. Too cute!

A stunning shot of one of our Beauty by The Book for Teens beauties: Briana Keith.

Between shootings, the girls enjoyed hanging out in the Dining Room doing what girls do best: talkin’ and laughing!

Sadly, the bonfire we planned got rained out. But gladly, the jigsaw puzzle drew the girls together between shoots.

Our hostess (and beloved friend) Ashley Naylor set up crafts for the girls to do throughout the weekend. Thank you, Ashley!

Our meals were provided by the greatest caterer ever: Vanessa Byerly. The girls raved over her taco salad, guacamole, “rich” cake, lemon triangles, and pasta primavera with chicken. Vanessa, you rock!

Laurie dedicated Beauty by The Book for Teens to this beautiful little girl on her lap: her granddaughter, Juliette.

Laurie’s grandson, Ezra, was also on the set, but he didn’t stay around for the “girlie” videotaping. Immediately after smiling for the camera and posing for this picture, Ezra and his daddy went fishing.

One of the sweetest blessings of the videotaping was meeting new sisters in Christ. (l to r) Kristen Hall and Christy Simmons enjoyed some fun fellowship together.

The weekend videotaping required more work and resources than Priority’s staff could handle, but we thank God for friends like Susan Gruetzmacher (pictured here with her daughter, Amanda) who came to help and served so generously. Thank you, Susan!

Special thanks also to the staff and crew of Video Perspective who videotaped Beauty by The Book for Teens. We are so grateful for their professionalism, patience, and grace. What a joy it was to co-labor with them on this project! Thank you, Video Perspective, for helping us encourage and equip young women to give God priority.
