In 2003, Laurie Cole was invited to write and teach a Bible study for her church in Houston, Texas. Soon, other churches learned about the study (There is a Season) and began requesting to use it in their women's Bible study programs. Sensing God's leadership and in response to what He was so obviously doing, Laurie founded Priority Ministries in December 2003.

Since that time, we (the Priority staff) have continually prayed that God would show us His path for this ministry and lead us by His truth (Psalm 25:4), and He has been so faithful to answer our prayers. Each year, Priority has grown and expanded - churches and individuals nationwide and in Canada have used our Bible studies and resources. We watch in amazement as God continually charts new pathways before us.
