It’s been one of those years here at Priority! Nope, not one of those difficult years, but one of those amazing years! It feels like we’re in the Promised Land after a season of waiting in the desert as God has allowed blessing after blessing to come to fruition over the past several months. As Thanksgiving approaches, we hope you will look back with us and join us in praising God for all of the fabulous things He has done through Priority in 2011.

Major financial goal: Complete!

After praying, fundraising, and waiting on the Lord, we finally reached our financial goal of raising $70,000 to produce and publish our newest Bible study! God used the generosity of so many of YOU, and we thank Him for each one of you who supported this project with your gifts and your prayers.

After working behind the scenes for over a year, our first-ever Bible study for teens is finally available! Through this study, God has allowed Priority to meet and minister to a whole new demographic of women we may never have met otherwise. We thank God for how He is working in the lives of these young ladies and for how He is spreading the message of biblical beauty to the next generation.

Free online videos: Available!

In a step of faith we never saw coming, God prompted Priority to offer Laurie’s teaching sessions for free on the Priority website. Through this, doors have been opened for women to benefit from these lessons regardless of their schedules or finances. In this way, we have definitely experienced the truth that it is more blessed to give than to receive, and we are so thankful that God has allowed us to make these available. Currently both Beauty by the Book studies are available online.

New Priority Ministries logo: Unveiled!

You may not have even noticed that the Priority Ministries logo got a facelift this year, but because we’re women, and women love pretty things, we are so excited about this makeover! God has placed several people with a great eye for design in our paths and has helped us streamline the look and feel of our ministry. We still have some work to do in implementing the changes, but we praise God for gifted people who can help us express our ministry artistically.

The September Glo Girl Conference may very well have been the highlight of our year! We praise God for the hundreds of ladies who attended and mostly for the lives that were changed that weekend! In addition, the relationships we made with the ladies in the conference steering committee are so precious to us, and we are so thankful that God brought the right support team at just the right time!

Glo Girl Blog: Launched!

A source of much prayer and lots of planning in the past year was the launch of an online community where we could encourage and equip women to give God glory and priority on a more regular basis. God finally allowed us to put this need at the top of our priority list, and the Glo Girl Blog was launched in September. We love hearing how God is working in your life through the comments on the blog, and we praise God for the privilege of ministering to you a daily basis!

Isn’t it amazing to see how much God has blessed us with this year? In fact, we’re so thankful and so amazed that we’re not going to let the praise stop here! Join us next week on the Glo Girl Blog as we continue praising God with A Week of Thanksgiving! Each day a different Priority staff member will share what she is thankful for in her personal life and we’ll let the rejoicing continue!
