Unfaithfulness: 6 Boundaries to Protect Your Marriage

Unfaithfulness in MarriageUnfaithfulness, like a termite, can damage and potentially destroy your marriage. Although there are no guarantees, there are preventative measures you can take to protect your marriage from this deadly termite.

In today’s session of Marriage on The Rock, we’ll give you 6 very practical boundaries to implement that will help protect your marriage from unfaithfulness (and one is a pet peeve and soapbox issue for marriage expert, Susan Gadd).  Click play and join Susan and me for a discussion on “preventative pest control.”  See you on the porch!

Your sister,

LaurieSigAny other marriage boundaries you’d add to this list? Or do you have a marriage question for Susan and Laurie? Please post your comments and questions below. If we receive enough questions, we may do a Marriage on The Rock Q&A episode . . . or two or three. Thanks!

P. S. Be sure to check out Susan’s  guest post on Monday, Dec. 2, to learn more about disrespect and marriage.

    Laurie, and Susan,
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this, having the courage to say the difficult but oh so true things, well, it’s really inspired my teaching and strengthened me for those times when there is such push back by women on these issues. God bless you as you serve Him and build your marriages on the Rock.

what if unfaithfulness was already committed?my husband just wanted out, we never been living together since we got married because we are both working away from home. When I resigned from work in 2012 and after i gave birth to our first and only child, he just wanted out. I tried to pursued him that we could have a marriage counselling but he doesn’t want. He said he dont’ love me anymore and that’s it. He is a seafarer, he has a chatmate, on and off girlfriend. It’s almost 3years since he said he wanted us to separate. I am still praying and waiting. It’s very difficult but by the grace of God I am doing good. Do you have any advice for me?

Hi Jene! Thank you so much for sharing your heart. I just posted a new video on the blog, and it deals specifically with your situation. I hope you’ll watch it because I believe it will give you the scriptural direction you need. I am so sorry your marriage has been so hurtful. My heart goes out to you as well as my prayers, dear sister.
