  1. I work for MD Anderson Cancer Center, which is a state institution, so I do have to be careful who I approach about God or anything. However, people know that I am a Christian, not just by my actions, but by the fact that I keep a bible, God’s Word, laying on my desk, and others see me reading it periodically. Also, if anyone approaches me with a fear or trouble, I will offer to pray for them and wth them right then. Sometimes they say “no thank you”, but most times they accept my offer, and I will pray with them in my office. I have found a I get older that there are always ways to share His love, even in places where it’s difficult. Even in those places though, it is never impossible to share to love that my Savior has for me and for everyone who is willing to accept it. Sometimes no words, but our actions are the best way to share His love and beauty in my life. Thank you for your daily / weekly posts. I so enjoy them!

  2. Deb, MD Anderson is an amazing place (my Mother-in-Law is getting treatments there now) to share your faith. There are many ways to be a light and I praise God that He has seen fit to place you in that place where many feel surrounded by darkness. To God be the glory. We have to be ready…and we are called to share with gentleness and respect. It’s a high calling, but with the empowerment of the Spirit, we are up to the task! Love, love your testimony. 🙂 Blessings on your ministry in that place.

Thank you both so very much for sweetly (the love of Christ showing in your precious faces and the carefully spoken words) sharing insights you have already learned with those of us who need encouragement when we are working hard to minister to those who, like us, need to know. What a perfect Scripture God just showered on me this morning to use with a young woman who is in the throes of praying for discernment about how to get her good Christian husband to attend Sunday School and Church with her regularly. 1 Peter 3:1-7 are the exact Scriptures I needed to share with her. God is so good! Thanks again! Looking forward to next Friday on the Porch.
