Right on! Laurie, a wonderful lady told me to memorize Romans 8:1 several years ago – ‘Therefore, there is now no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus.’ Ladies, listen to me clearly. I have lived with no condemnation since. How? Everytime the enemy has come to remind of the great and terrible sin of my past and even recent sin that I have asked forgiveness – I quote that scripture immediately. Done! Our adversary cannot stand and accuse any longer. God’s word is true and powerful. Jesus did the same thing when He dealt with satan in the wilderness. He quoted God’s Word to defeat him. If there is one thing that has changed my life and has kept me alive- memorizing and standing on the Word. Thank you, Laurie for this powerful reminder of who we are in Christ! Thank you, Jesus for your example and the power of Your Word! Jesus, thank you that you defeated our adversary by the shedding of your powerful Blood approximately 2000 years ago! Thank you that we stand with no condemnation in you! Amen!

Yes! There are definitely days when the past ZOOMS in, right out of the blue – totally unwanted, & “”tries”” to knock me over with REGRET. and then….. “most times”, I remember & go immediately in my heart to the sermon one of our Pastors preached on & it was called, “Stinkin thinkin”! And then just the other day I had a precious daughter-inluv tell me some things that she’s doing with her children to promote their way of “communicating”. For what is inside the heart is what comes up to the mind & then out of the mouth. We can keep our “well” pure by keeping the name of Jesus, close, in our hearts; deep, in our living spirit; so that when it reaches our minds our tounges can utter these Words……….HE is so rich in kindness that He purchased our freedom through the blood of His Son, & our sins ARE forgiven. Eph 1:7
But what about todays sins?? We’re ALL sinners & He means ALL sins, past present & future.
So we’re to humble ourselves before God! (we cannot do it in our own power) Resisit the devil, & he will flee from you. James 1:12-13; 4:7
Admonishments & warnings come from LOVE…..thank you Laurie & all the Glo girls for walking the words of Isaiah 40:31 It’s the moment by moment waiting …………………
See you tonight at Princess Warriors

Thank you Laurie, I too have been beating myself up lately over everything that is wrong with my life vs. focusing on what is good. My prayers for help in my unbelief seem to go unanswered. Thanks for reminding me that there is a difference between condemnation and conviction. Because of Christ obedience to death on the cross I am forgiven and a new creation. Time to start acting like one.

Thank you, Laurie. I have been going back through each of these and taking notes on each session. While I have struggled with all of these at one time or another in my life, I think this is the one that I struggle with the most. My past as a young adult was so destructive and hurtful, especially to my parents. While I know that God loves me and that I am useful for Him, I still struggle with those old sins that will just “pop” into my head suddenly. I am going to take your advise and read Ephesians every day, over and over, until I KNOW that I don’t have “unbelief”. I know that I can’t let my kids problems become my problems, nor can I live in the past, and thanks to you, I think I can finally begin to overcome this. God bless you and Priority Ministries. I really needed this today, and I think it will help me to grow in Christ and become a better christian overall.
