Front Porch Friday: Meet My Daddy!

Today’s edition of Front Porch Friday is extra-special because I have an an extra-special guest: my daddy, John McKay! And he’s got an extra-special Thanksgiving blessing for you: a song. How I pray that today’s Front Porch Friday will remind you that you have a faithful Father, too.  Enjoy!

Your sister,

What a blessing to see this, Laurie! Thank you so much for sharing your sweet dad with us! It is wonderful that you still have your parents here to enjoy. Mine went to be with the Lord several years ago. I’m looking forward to seeing them again in heaven!

To have an earthly father who loves & cherishes you is an amazing blessing. Your daddy radiates joy & peace & it’s easy to see how very much he loves you. Thanks for sharing him with us. And though I never had a earthly dad to love & nourish me, I’m EVER grateful for my Father who nitted me, knows my name & has a place in His “””forever””” home for me.
I’m “Thankful” everyday for that & I’m filled with JOY that one day I’ll get to see & be with Him & all my loved ones, (who’ve known Christ), again. And I’m thankful for the peace I have in my heart that there will be no more tears or sorrow, ( yet I cry now as I say it), if those who’ve passed on or are still here & never have accepted Christ. I will ever pray for those that still have a chance. Living in “eternal” love.

My 67 yr old mother stepped into heaven yesterday after fighting for her life the last six weeks. She was greeted not only by Jesus and her dad but also her mother, which she hadn’t known had passed away Nov. 3rd. This is the hardest thing we have ever been through but Great is His faithfulness! Please remember my family at this very difficult time, especially all the grandbabies. They are missing their Mimi!
