Front Porch Friday: The Message From Your Mess

It’s my final week on the porch with my sweet sister, Christy. And today you’ll hear the beautiful message God has given her from the messes she’s been through.

But what about you? What message has God given you through your mess? May this final week of the Messy Series encourage you to do the same thing Christy’s done: share your mess AND God’s message with others.

Your mess with a message sister,

God is definitely a God of Hope! Thanks so much Christy and Laurie for this Messy series on how to turn my mess into God’s message. I have so much messes in my life and I am slowly learning how to trust God that he will turn them into a message of my life instead of letting me feel sad and depressed.

The hardest for me was having my family to accept me as a Christian and me giving my life to Christ, It took them 9 years to accept that I have given my life to Christ. My faith was always tested and my hope was wavering in whether my family would accept me as a Christian. With God all things are possible and He will bless those who are faithful. Because of this I am stronger in my walk with God.

I just completed Turn your mess into God’s message. As I researched the women in the Bible whose lives were a mess, I was encouraged. Surely if God could us them he could use me. Knowing that we have a Savior who was tempted in everyway that we were makes it easy to indentify with Christ and it help me to gain strength and confidence. My favorite scripture that was used and I have it taped up on the wall over my desk was:
Being confident in this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6.
What I heard from God durning the messy series I will keep as a pattern of sound teaching and faith and love in Jesus Christ so that I can serve and encourage others. I know I have something valuable to offer. God had already turned my mess into a message.
Thank you Laurie and Christy for letting God work thru you.
