Christmas is just a couple of days away, and we want you to know that we love and appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for being one of our beautiful, beloved blog subscribers. It is our prayer that each and every one of our posts blesses and encourages you spiritually.
Just the other day, Laurie met a young woman (20ish) at the mall who said, “I know who you are . . . I watch your porch videos.” What a gift that young woman gave to all of us! We are so grateful for the reminder and affirmation that God is using Front Porch Friday and the Priority blog to reach and teach the Word to women young and old, and you are a gift from God to us.
If you’ve watched the news or read the headlines this Christmas week, you know that darkness is fully committed to overcoming the light of Jesus Christ in our world today. But at Christmas, do not forget this wonderful news:
“Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world.’” John 8:12
Jesus is the light of the world! And His light always shines, dispels and, one day, will destroy the darkness.
But look at what else Jesus said:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill that cannot be hidden . . . let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matt. 5:14-16
Sisters, we are the light of the world! His light is in us. Glory!
So, this Christmas and in the coming New Year, let’s shine and share His light with others. That is our commitment to you and to Him in every post we write and Front Porch Friday video we create.
