Need Your Input Today, Glo Girl!

Attention all glo girls: I need your input today please. I’m teaching the final session of Warrior Princess (spiritual warfare) tonight, and it sure would help me if you’d share the #1 way you stand firm against the enemy each day. How do you defeat Satan’s attacks? What are your go-to scriptures? I would LOVE to share some of your wisdom and encouragement tonight, so please let me hear from you today. Like right now. 🙂 Thank you!

As always, I covet your prayers today. Teaching this series has (of course) been an intense spiritual warfare experience in and of itself. But I am so grateful to report that your prayers and encouragement have made a tremendous difference. Wish I could hug each and every one of your necks and thank you in person for your intercession.  God bless you, precious sisters!

Gotta finish tweaking my notes for tonight – hope to add lots of your input to them, so let me hear from you, glo girls!

Standing firm and thanking the Lord for you,

Laurie-sig-300dpiP. S. If you are a Houston-area glo girl, come join me for the final session of Warrior Princess tonight. I would LOVE to see you there!

Praise! Praise your way to the promise. This is what helps me stand through the attacks of the devil. Knowing you can trust God. My favorite scripture is “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL we ask or imagine, according to his work that is within us [me], although there are many I stand on. Important point also would be to confess them out loud. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share. Be Blessed!

Our minds and peace through the grace of God is a keeper and a great place to return when troubles surround you and you have no where to turn…God has not given us a mind to fear, but one to trust, have faith and the peace of God to help us overcome our trials and temptations. So when I put on the gospel shoes of peace I am reminded that it is the peace of God and not the world that will make me successful in the battles I face here on this earth. I think that I’ve learned that when my suit of armor is weak, I need to run to the word and fall into the loving arms of my father. May we all be gifted with the love of Jesus Christ in sincerity and be a light to our fellow man. We may still have battles to come, but we have the assurance that God has given us his word that will stand forever and in case we forget, GOD WINS THE WAR. Thank you Laurie for sharing this this series with us and your faithfulness to God’s word. Thanks for hearing my heart.

Awesome reminder, Sue! He is our peace even (and especially) in the battle. So grateful for your wise words!

I do a host of things to defeat Satan:
    (1) Because Christianity is being assaulted everywhere, I buy Bibles by the case and distribute them to a local restaurant to give out for free, thus putting the word of God in everyone’s hands who want it but can’t afford it.
    (2) I read and research prophecy subjects constantly. I order books on certain Biblical subjects of interest to me, including non-Biblical ancient writings, (which are not inspired of God, but are still histories), such as the writings of Josephus, the tactics of the Jesuits in history and now, secret societies and the proliferation of Luciferian/Satanic/occult/mystery religions past and present that are cleverly hidden in today’s movies, TV shows, internet games, jewelry, corporation logos, and the like.
    (3) I read and study the Bible at home regularly to keep my spirituality up.
    (4) I view every social situation as an opportunity to drop in a plug for looking to the Bible as the answer to current affairs and personal problems plaguing man.

The search for truth and readiness for anything should never end. Just going to church is not enough, because that is for association and building up each other. Personal study and research, understanding the prophecies in the end times (which is what we are in) and understanding Satan’s tactics are essential to our spiritual armor.

PS, oh and yes, I’m a Doomsday Prepper, too.

I remember that God loves me no matter what Satan tries to tell me. I cannot lose His love , because I didn’t earn in the first place. I am not saying it is easy, but Jesus doesn’t go anywhere even when we mess up.

Good morning, Laurie! Psalm 146:2 “While I live will I praise the Lord; I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.” For me, praising God through music, whether it is a hymn, praise chorus, or a beautiful instrumental piece, makes Satan recede into the background and helps me to focus on Him alone. It’s just close to impossible to be grumpy, depressed, or fearful when you’re singing God’s praises with all your heart! So, when I feel like I’m under Satan’s thumb, I play God-honoring music until I can’t do anything but sing His praises and release myself to Him for love, comfort, support, and guidance. It puts me in the frame of mind to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your OWN understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and He will direct your paths.”

Worship and praying scriptures for your situation. Worship brings you peace, strength and a renewal straight from the Lord and praying scriptures shows the Lord that you trust him to fulfill his word in your situation. But with this we must worship in spirit and in truth and pray according that HIS will be done and not ours. I also always remember in these situations that John 3:30 says He must increase but I must decrease!

#1 ways: Phil 4:8-9 Think & fill your mind on these things. Also Eph 6:10-18 Remember what to wear into war. Put on the full armor of God that He supplies so I can stand my ground & resist the devil by God’s power! Thank you Laurie for persevering for this strong purpose! This study will equip many for victory in the Lord. Glory be to God!

Like I’ve heard Kay Arthur say so many times about Phil. 4:8-9: It is absolutely essential that we “frisk our thoughts” and keep our minds set on “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” Bless you for the reminder and for your encouraging words.

I do the same. I have memorized this passage (Phil 4:8-9). I believe it is very important. And the armor of God is essential. I do this early in the morning before I start my day, before anything has a chance to attack me! lol I also ask everyday that “the Lord would help me fall in love with him”. I also ask that “he would open up doors of opportunities to minister to His people and let His love shine through me”. Isaiah 61.

*My best time with the Lord = early morning (read the word/pray/worship) and commuting time (I drive about 45mins to get to work so I usually pray or listen to a sermon/teaching)*

*Music= I love music of different styles. I find really good Christian music in the styles that I like. I praise the Lord and protect my ears from hearing lyrics that will “pull” me back to my old ways 🙂

So grateful you’re enjoying the study. But even more grateful for the way that God is using you to teach and trains your girls in God’s Word. You rock, Miranda! Give those girls a hug for me.

With God All things are possible. I pray that you are strong in your delivery tonight. I am waiting on the video version of Princess Warrior and I hope we all be careful about what we wear. We need to be fully equipped for WARFARE. God is everywhere; even in the small stuff. We will be victorius if we believe it and live it! Do well Princess Warrior!

Dear Laurie, Is there any way that this 4 week series can be on your blog so those of us in other parts of the country can still ‘get in on it’? I am praying…

I love your term, ‘warrior princess’. That is what God has called us to be! Wow! For me, the best defense is a good offense; starting every day with my ‘briefing with my Commander in Chief’, reporting for duty, and making sure my flight plan is checked through ‘mission control’. By listening, talking, praying, memorizing/meditating on a verse for the day (I write one out during my quiet time), and singing to my Lord, my heart is tuned to hear His voice throughout the day, and strengthened to do what He is calling me to do in His strength. Ps 62 is a favorite go to scripture when I feel under the pile with 4 teens and a preschooler. ‘when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I’. My rock can always be depended on when I can’t. He is faithful…and able to keep me from falling and present me faultless before His glory. (Jude). Just hearing His words brings blessed peace and joy to my heart. His words are spirit and they are life.

Preach, girl! Love it! Wow, what a blessing to hear from you! Yes, Debbie, we will have Warrior Princess available for others like you, hopefully, very soon. But because the sessions are all at least 45 minutes long (too long for us to upload to the blog), we will offer them as MP3 (audio) and MP4 (video) downloads and CD and DVD sets. In the meantime, please pray that the editing and production on this series will go smoothly, and that the end result will be many, many more Warrior Princesses like you. Love to you, dear sister!
