I will have a romantic dinner at home with my husband. The china and crystal come out of the cabinet and the dressy-dress comes out of the closet. It’s a night for high heels, perfume, and lipstick. Light up the candles, let the romance begin.

Well it happens to be my husband and mine’s wedding anniversary as well, but since my 5yr old son is going to have a minor procedure that day, I am packing a nice breakfast, lunch, snacks, portable DVD player with movies, and some cards. (we used to love to play cards when we were dating) I figure we can make the best of the situation and place our faith in God. 🙂

I am not sure what my husband has planned, but I know that no matter what it is it will be Great. Because our marriage is God centered and full of Love. In our house every day is like Valentine’s day 🙂 I get “just because” items all the time 🙂 Praying each and everyone of you are Blessed above and beyond on Valentine” day and every day.

Going to a neighbors house for a pot-luck get together and to watch a movie. Then back home to have a snuggle with my honey of 40 years.

I plan on setting up a mini scavenger hunt for my husband. When he wakes up i am going to set little messages all over and he will have to follow them to find his gift. Each one will have a great memory or say something wonderful about him. Then later in the night we will cook dinner and have Valentines together as a family.

Celebrate with my kids and hubby. For breakfast I make the same thing every year for the kids and they start reminding me in early January. I take refrigerated biscuits, flatten a little, cut out with heart shaped cookie cutter, dip in melted butter, then dip in cinnamon/sugar mixture and bake. They love them! For supper we usually grill steaks, have pasta and salad, and some type of “heart” shaped dessert, and we eat by candle light. Don’t need a day like this to do special things or say I love you, we do it every day. But we do have fun celebrating the day.

Mike and I talked about Valentine’s Day and I wanted to do something special for him. He wanted to go somewhere nice to eat for his gift from me. But then he wants to take me somewhere for a surprise. So I’m not sure what the second half of Valentine’s is. I just have to say, knowing my husband, he has such a kind and generous heart it will be something so thoughtful and kind. And then on Sunday our church is celebrating Valentine’s with a dinner and the youth are doing the entertainment. So we look forward to that also.

I am single…so I will be spending the evening with my mom. She is recovering from a stroke she suffered in June of last year. God has been so great to her in her recovery and progress. I plan to surprise her by having a 4 course tea party. Scones with cream and curd, tea sandwiches, quiche with fresh fruit and bite-sized desserts. Might even invite my aunt and cousin to join us. Just the ladies…will be fun!

Celebrating Valentine’s Day with the family. Got my hubby and the kids a lil something special for each of them. We’ll have dinner at home and I’ll bake dessert in a heart shaped pan (chocolate of course).

I will be celebrating with my mother. We will enjoy a seafood meal and plan to do some give-aways to a few women who are in a special program and soon leaving to restart their lives. They will be our Valentines and we will deliver the gifts to them.
