Christian Wife of a Non-Believing Husband? New Tools & Encouragement For You!

One of the most popular videos on my YouTube Channel is entitled “Christian Wife of a Non-Believing Husband – What Do You Do?” My heart and prayers go out to every woman who has watched it and to every Christian wife of an unbelieving husband. That’s why today’s Front Porch Friday is dedicated to:

  • All of the women who have found and watched the video “Christian Wife of a Non-Believing Husband – What Do You Do?…
  • Every wife who has prayed and prayed and prayed for an unbelieving husband…
  • And every friend who has encouraged and prayed for a friend who is married to an unbelieving husband.

Today I will share three wonderful, new tools to encourage women like you:

  1.  A great new movie that opens today: The Case for Christ. It’s the true story of Lee and Leslie Strobel. He was an atheist and she was a Christian.
  2.  A compelling and encouraging interview with Lee and Leslie Strobel. Here’s Part 1, and here’s Part 2.
  3.  A GREAT book written just for you: Surviving a Spiritual Mismatch in Marriage by Lee & Leslie Strobel.

Join me on the porch, and I’ll tell you more about them!

Praying for you, sisters!

P. S. Check these out!

    Dear Laurie
I have been married to my husband for 18 years now. When he was 12 he lost his right leg to cancer. He hated God because he thought God was the one who had done this to him. He now knows that it was not God who gave him cancer. What I’m trying to say is that he is not a non believer but he is not a Christian either! In 2015 I came back to church, before that I had been out of church for 21 years. I’m going on a mission trip with my church to New Mexico! I’m excited! Ok Thank you for listening! Mary

    Laurie,

I have been dating my boyfriend for just over 3 years now, we live together and we have a daughter together, she is 1. I love him dearly and he is a good father and good man. He believes in Jesus Christ and knows he died and rose for us. he believes in God, however, I am not sure exactly how deep it goes. I know that over these past years together he has grown in his faith, he has gone to church with me twice now which is a big deal. My real struggle is I feel like a hypocritical Christian by living my life this way and I have really deepened my relationship with God and want to grow even more with Him. I know He is a God of forgiveness but it is killing me to be living this life, not married. My boyfriend says he wants to get married but the timing is always wrong. He is divorced and so am I. I have listened to your Front porch Friday and I have read the Mismatched Marriage book by the Strobels, I pray for my boyfriend. I just I guess I am looking for a little advice or encouragement…. I know that most people would say to move out until we are married, but we have this home we built together and this family with our daughter and his 3 boys from his previous marriage so it is not that easy. And I know that I put myself into this situation by just disregarding my beliefs for boyfriend and my priorities were off but I am trying to make this right. I am the only Christian that the boys know and they love going to church on Sundays now. I just wish I could share this part of my life with my boyfriend…

A husband whose heart has been capture by christ has a deeper, truer understanding of love and grace the only Christ can give.

Nothing has done more for my life than this place had. Saved my baby, and me, and brought me closer to God.
